SmartBill AI is built on a "Privacy First" architecture. Unlike other SaaS tools that scrape your data into third-party databases, we live entirely within your Google account.
We only request the permissions necessary to function. Our implementation uses Restricted Scopes for Gmail (Read-only) which is strictly used to identify invoice data. We do not store, share, or sell your email content.
Email content is processed using Google's Gemini API standard terms. Your data is not used to train global AI models, and all tokens are discarded after the parsing is complete.
Payments are handled by Paystack, a leading secure payment processor. SmartBill AI does not store your credit card information. We only store a hashed reference to your subscription status.
If you uninstall the add-on, all your data remains in your Google Spreadsheet. You own the logs, the PDFs, and the client lists forever.

SmartBill AI is a Google Sheets Add-on provided by Serpent CyberSecurity. By using this software, you agree to comply with Google Workspace Marketplace policies and local invoicing regulations.
SmartBill AI provides up to 5 invoices per month for free. To unlock "Pro Unlimited" features, users must subscribe via the in-app Paystack portal. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until canceled.
Users are responsible for verifying the AI-generated data before sending final invoices. While Gemini 1.5 Flash is highly accurate, SmartBill AI is a productivity assistant, not a legal or financial auditor.
We offer a 7-day, no-questions-asked refund policy for all initial Pro upgrades. If the tool doesn't fit your workflow, just email us for a full reversal within the first week.
You can cancel your subscription at any time using the "Manage Subscription" button in the sidebar settings. You will retain PRO access for the remainder of your 30-day billing cycle.
